In the developing nations, the lack of data networks will significantly affect the professional performance of the veteran workforce, who have a long career in an industry. 

Especially the Education sector, the current situation of young teachers actively resigning to experience and discover a completely new industry group has and will continue to happen.

If the Ministries, Departments and Governments issued an order to close schools for too long and there was no plan to renovate the method of teaching, learning by system, deploy using IT platform for teachers as well as students. 

2. Technology in Vietnam

We realized that Education and Training is a national industry group, a quality basic education that brings our children the knowledge and skills they need to face challenges in life.

Simultaneously, it taking advantage of job opportunities with high income and is also the main driving force to reduce poverty, promote economic growth, achieve gender equality and social development. 

Therefor, our country's Ministry of Education and Training needs good data, we all need high-quality digital resources to assess risks and make good decisions, to navigate sudden world crises. For example, the Covid-19 pandemic. The speed and scope of the epidemic's expansion has proved that if all the groups in society want to survive and build stronger internal resources, people need to read and analyze a lot of high-quality information, to understand the changes that are taking place, thereby assessing how they work and being able to make the best decisions for the labor market, the employment market, even the promising investment opportunities of a firm, a healthy community of education and training.

3. Content

Traditional teaching method like the teacher only speaking in classroom, the student just sitting, listening and taking notes were used by teachers in the past, some of which are no longer considered effective today. Some methods are easy for teachers to consider and change theirs way flexibly. 


Although many lecturers, professors still prefer to rely on traditional teaching methods, in my point of view, the possibility of implementing many effective online learning tools will open up when technology is appreciated teachers put into the traditional classroom is… endless!

During the development of the system, getting feedback from users (E-Learner) that we have tried to implement for ABS Institute, we first sees the ability of professors, teachers to access online education significantly broadens thinking, included in a wide range of learning styles, formal degree options; or get a training certificate – not necessarily a formal degree. 


The sharing that we have collected from a few of famous training experts in the market of Ho Chi Minh City city is: Even though if you are not a valedictorian or an education professional, if you are simply happy and satisfied with a steady teaching profession, it is essential that you get started. Please note that the importance of technology in teaching. Due to the importance of educational technology will certainly make it more effective to reach many students.

4. Singapore's Story

We have the honor occasion talk to a lot of Vietnamese professors who have contributed significantly to the creation and innovation of the education industry. After many objective opinions that we have listened to along with the main assessment. 

Regarding from my personal working experience, I believes that in order to improve the ability to persuade the elderly and senior professors in the Ministry of Education, we must show them, this methods of teaching new is really easy to use and if they learn how to use it it will bring them a lot of benefits. 


It must takes time, however it is completely in our reach and if Vietnam perform it well, our story would be similar to the story of all Singaporeans using English, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew - the Singapore's former Prime Minister. By showing to Singaporeans that if they learn English, their income will increase and your chances of making money will also depend on your level of education and skill. Capacity continues to increase proportionally to your level. 


Up to this time, it's been twenty years since he set out for this vision, until all the Singaporeans approved to use English like a main language in education and work, that's when the whole world saw the results, a decision from a leader who has the right strategy to persuading the people.


5. Solution #1

So, we get back to the topic of teaching innovation in the context of post-Covid adaptation, we have a few comments as follows:

Initially, technology-driven-pedagogy is a fairly new field and honestly, according to the survey of us, not all the teachers are ready to embark on the implementation of application-oriented teaching plans, to apply the lecture to such technology. 


The reason come from technology-driven-pedagogy will requires the effort of teachers to research accurately the learning needs of students, to determine which technology is  appropriate skillfully apply to the curriculum. 

Information Technology (IT) will be an sub-tool for teachers to monitor teaching and learning results to measure the effectiveness of these measures, and after the COVID crisis caused by the Covid epidemic, in 2022 and coming years will be a golden-time for online teaching and learning methods. Why we said that?

According to a statistical survey conducted by the United Nations Children's Fund in Vietnam (UNICEF) and the World Telecommunication Union (ITU), there are currently more than 2.2 billion people under the age of 18 in the world who are accessing the internet every day, and then we have 78% of urban children under 6 years old know how to use digital devices. That's mean the children will soon access and enjoy the advantages – as well as face the disadvantages of cyberspace themselves. 


  • On one hand, children today regularly use smartphones and tablets daily, and they should also be trusted by teachers and parents to assign them the responsibility of researching, checking up and doing homework during school for hours. Based on daily activities of children now a day, is there any reason for teachers feel hesitate to integrate technology into lesson plans?

  • On the other hand, the statistic indicates that one-fifth of children surveyed said they had been a victim of cyberbullying on the Internet, the same types of online games on smartphones and tablets, like on a virtual reality playground. When we go online, we are living in a large digital community. However, the virtual world on the Internet same like any community, it has risks and dangers if the adults - the guardians are parents and teachers do not actively participate in with theirs child. Always participate in with your kids, teaching them the skills they need to protect them from digital threats.


Internet safety for students is the first goal that teachers, professors need to achieve, in order to reach the second goal on the journey to eliminate the generation gap between teachers (the previous generation and the previous generation) and young people (new generation) by Information Technology.


6. Solution #2

8. Conclusion

If we are willing to rethink our approach to college and university education, Vietnamese students will again inherit our efforts and achievements, and the need to study of these young people can be far more diverse than the previous academic knowledge our predecessors had.


In fact, especially in developing countries in Southeast Asia, training companies and public schools are already well positioned to acknowledge that Technology plays a head role as a set of tools. Teaching tools that balance reality - cyberspace to create outstanding potentials never seen before. 


Customized teaching and learning methods, or targeting the right group of learners, can provide comprehensive, engaging, personalized learning at an affordable price.
